After you create a plan view drawing, you need to add the floor plan of the work site as the underlay to place items and add wiring.
If you don't have a floor plan or don't want to use one, you can use the "Rectangle Location" feature to draw the site layout.

Add the floor plan
You can upload a PDF, JPG, or PNG file as the floor plan; a file larger than 800px by 800px provides the best results.
Once uploaded, the plan may be hidden under the Search bar and toolbar if the file size is large. This is normal; you can zoom out on the canvas by clicking the "Zoom to Fit" icon on the toolbar.
You can add a floor plan to a plan view drawing in one of two ways.
When creating the drawing
If you have the floor plan handy, you can add it when creating the plan view drawing.

To an existing drawing
If you did not have the floor plan when creating the plan view drawing, or you want to replace the floor plan, you can upload the floor directly to the drawing.
1/ Go to Drawing Manager and open the drawing.
2/ Click the "Upload" icon on the toolbar, click "Image," and upload the floor plan.
If you are replacing the floor plan, delete the existing plan before uploading the new one.
Handle the floor plan
Crop floor plan | Select the plan image, then click the "Crop image" button below the plan to crop it. |
Lock floor plan position | Select the plan image and click the "Lock position" button below the plan. |
Resize floor plan | Select the plan image, hold any vertex, and move it outward to increase the size or inward to decrease it. |
Move floor plan | Select the plan image, drag, and drop it to the desired position. |
Rotate floor plan | Select the plan image, point at the circular dot above the image, and rotate it clockwise or anticlockwise. |
Delete floor plan | Select the plan image and press "Delete" on the keyboard. |
