You can check the status of the inventory-tracked items to see the number of items available for use.
One place where you see the status is the table on the Inventory page. You will see the inventory status indicators as columns, along with other item details.
The following are the descriptions of the inventory status indicators.
Indicator | Description | Accuracy depends on |
On-Hand | The total quantity of the inventory-tracked item available across all inventory locations. | Mark purchase orders as “Received” or “Partially Received,” and check in received inventory-tracked items into inventory locations. |
Available | The quantity of the inventory-tracked item you can reserve for projects and service calls when needed. | Mark purchase orders as “Received” or “Partially Received,” and check in received inventory-tracked items into inventory locations.
Reserve products for projects. |
Allocated | The quantity of the inventory-tracked item already reserved for projects and service calls. | Reserve products for projects. |
Ordered | The quantity of the inventory-tracked item in one or more purchase orders sent to the supplier. It includes inventory-tracked items required for projects and service calls, as well as those you may have ordered to maintain excess stock. | Create and send purchase orders to suppliers. |
Needed | The quantity of the inventory-tracked items needed across projects. |

Another place to see the inventory status is the item's side pane. On the "Inventory" page, click an inventory-tracked item, and you will see the inventory status indicators in the side panel.
You will also see the following in the side panel:
The option to set or change the minimum quantity and reorder quantity thresholds.
The option to move the item across inventory locations.
The option to adjust the inventory-tracked item quantity.
Item history from the time you checked in the initial on-hand quantity.
To filter the inventory-tracked items, you can use filters such as Brand, Supplier, and Category, located at the top.
