If the D-Tools Cloud connector in ChatGPT won't connect, or it connects but can't pull up your data, work through these steps in order. Stop as soon as it's working.
Check first: is MCP Access turned on for you?
The connector only works if your D-Tools Cloud administrator has enabled MCP Access for your user. If you're not sure, ask your admin to check before trying the steps below. Reconnecting won't fix this one. See Ask D-Tools: FAQs.
Step 1: Disconnect and reconnect D-Tools Cloud
In ChatGPT, open Settings and go to the apps and connectors section.
Find D-Tools Cloud and disconnect it.
If ChatGPT gives you an option to remove or uninstall it, do that too.
Search the directory for D-Tools Cloud and connect it again.
When prompted, sign in with your D-Tools Cloud email and password.
Then start a new conversation and ask a D-Tools question, like "Show me my open opportunities."
Step 2: Hard refresh your browser
If you use ChatGPT in a web browser, a hard refresh makes the page reload fresh instead of using what it has saved.
On a Mac
Chrome, Edge or Firefox: press Cmd + Shift + R
Safari: press Cmd + Option + R
On Windows
Chrome, Edge or Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + R (or Ctrl + F5)
Step 3: Restart the ChatGPT desktop app
If you use the ChatGPT desktop app instead of a browser:
Quit the app completely. On a Mac, press Cmd + Q. On Windows, close the window, then make sure ChatGPT isn't still running in the system tray.
Reopen the app.
Step 4: Contact Support
Still stuck? Open a chat with the D-Tools Cloud Support team using the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of D-Tools Cloud. It helps to include:
