Cloud offers two Inventory Management modes: Inventory Pools and Inventory Asset Management (IAM).
The Inventory Pools mode includes entry-level features, tracking product counts by warehouse location. In this mode, you can track only the pooled count of products.
The IAM mode includes all inventory-related features; tracking each individual unit and its information such as serial #, notes, condition, and so on. In this mode, you can track products in the Inventory Pools mode (pooled counts only) or in the IAM mode (asset-level tracking.)
To track products under Inventory Management in either of the modes, mark products in the catalog as "inventory-tracked items."
Inventory Pools mode
In the Inventory Pools mode, you can mark products as pool-tracked items one by one or in bulk.
Mark products one by one
To mark a product as a pool-tracked item:
1/ Go to “Catalog > My Products.”
2/ Click the 3-dot menu of the product and click “Mark as inventory tracked item.”
3/ In the modal, specify one or more inventory locations where the item is located, its current quantity, and click "Check in."
You can click "+" next to the quantity text box to select another inventory location.
5/ Do this for all products you want to mark as pool-tracked items.
This approach is suitable when you want to mark only a few products as pool-tracked items.
Mark multiple products
You may want to mark products from certain brands or suppliers, or your favorite products, as pool-tracked items.
To mark multiple products as pool-tracked items:
1/ Go to “Catalog > My Products.”
2/ If necessary, you can filter your products by brands, suppliers, favorites, or other filters to narrow down the list of products. This is optional.
3/ Select all the filtered products or manually select products, and click "Mark as inventory tracked item" in the Actions menu at the top right.
4/ In the modal, specify one or more inventory locations where the items are located, their current quantities, and click "Check in."
5/ Do this for all products you want to mark as pool-tracked items.
As you mark products as pool-tracked items, they appear on the "Inventory" page.
Inventory Asset Management (IAM) mode
In the IAM mode, you can mark products as pool-tracked or asset-tracked items one by one or in bulk.
The steps to select one product or multiple products are the same as those in the Inventory mode. In the IAM mode:
1/ Once you select one or more products, and click "Mark as inventory tracked item," you see an option to select their Inventory Tracking Mode: Unit tracking or Pool tracking.
If you set the mode to Unit tracking (equivalent to the IAM mode,) Cloud tracks both its pooled inventory counts and the individual assets within it.
If you set the mode to Pool tracking (equivalent to the Inventory Pools mode,) Cloud tracks its pooled inventory counts.

2/ After you select the mode, click "Proceed."
As you mark products as pool-tracked and asset-tracked items, they appear on the "Inventory" page with the "Pools Tracked" or "Units Tracked" label next to them.
Inventory page
You can sort the columns on the Inventory page.
You can also filter the inventory-tracked items by various criteria.
When you use the Location filter, the Inventory page displays the on-hand quantity of the items in the selected locations. All other data displayed on the page will be related to the filtered inventory-tracked items.
