On Cloud, you can add your customer accounts individually using the "Add account" workflow or import multiple accounts from a CSV file. In both cases, you only need the account name. However, this may not be enough to do business with them. If you did not specify all account details when adding the account, you can add them in the Account Details view.
The Account Details view also provides all business data (opportunities and contracts), project execution, and payments.
To go to the Account Details view, click the account name on the "Accounts" page.
You can see the following in the Account Details view.
Account number and integration
Cloud automatically assigns a unique identifier to every account. You can see the account number in the top-left corner.
The number is assigned sequentially. The default number format is A - (number). You can change this format under "Settings > Custom > Number formats."
Check out this article for more details about changing the number format.
You need the "Manage account number" permission in the "CRM" permissions group, or you should be a member of a group that has it, to change the account number.
If the account is a subaccount of another account, you see the primary account name in Green in the top-left corner.
If you have enabled an accounting integration, Cloud displays a link to export the account to the accounting software, or the account name in the software if it is already exported. When you click the link, you can view the account details in the accounting software.
