A connection diagram visually represents connectivity and signal flow between devices, providing detailed documentation for installers and reducing manual errors and project delays.
To create a new connection diagram:
1/ Go to "Drawings" in the Quote Details view.
2/ Click "New drawing" in the top-right corner.
3/ In the Details tab of the modal, do the following:
a/ Select "Connection Diagram" and add a name for the drawing.
b/ In the "Number" text box, retain the number assigned to the drawing via the drawing number format or change it if needed.

4/ In the Systems tab of the modal, optionally select the systems you want to include in the diagram, and click "Next."
5/ In the Locations tab of the modal, optionally select the locations you want to include in the diagram, and click "Create."
The new connection drawing is listed in the drawings table on the left in Drawing Manager.
You can now go to the diagram's Edit view to add connections and specify their details.

If you want to create a connection diagram for all systems and locations in the quote, you can select "All Systems" and "All Locations" in the modal. You can filter the diagram by specific systems and locations and save the filtered view as a new diagram.
