You can enable D-Tools payments whether or not you have enabled any third-party integrations, such as ProPay, Stripe, or Clover Connect. However, if you have enabled any of the third-party integrations, consider the following before enabling D-Tools Payments:
Enabling D-Tools Payments will automatically disable the currently enabled third-party integration. You can still collect payments pending from your customers through the third-party integration. However, because the third-party integration is disabled, Cloud cannot mark payments as “Paid,” and their payment statuses will not synchronize with the Accounting integration if you have one enabled.
Plan to phase out the collection of pending payments using the currently enabled integration. You can get a list of “Requested,” “Due,” and “Overdue” payments under Finance > Billing by filtering the payments by their statuses.
To enable D-Tools Payments, you will need to be in the Administrator group or a group with Manage Payments permission.
The enablement also involves a Merchant Onboarding process, during which you will need to provide some information about you and your business. We recommend that you refer to the Merchant Onboarding Checklist to keep the required information handy and thus speed up the onboarding.
Do the following to enable D-Tools Payments:
1/ Go to Settings > D-Tools Payments in the left navigation menu.
