Catalog Management permissions

What are the permissions required to manage the Cloud catalog

Like most other functionality on Cloud, Catalog Management requires that users building the catalog have the necessary permissions. This ensures that catalog items are not subjected to undue changes or deletions.

Here is the list of catalog management permissions and their associated capabilities.

Create and edit catalog items

Add products from the D-Tools library, import products from Excel, QuickBooks, and System Integrations (SI), and fully edit products and other items in the catalog.

Edit catalog items

Edit item prices, specifications, labor hours, accessories, and other details in the item details view.

Delete catalog items

Delete items and mark items as inactive.

View item costs

See item costs in the catalog and cost, margin, markup, and profit details in the quote.

View item prices

See item prices in the catalog and price, margin, markup, and profit details in the quote.

Manage catalog settings

Create and manage the catalog settings under Settings > Catalog in the left navigation menu.

Create and manage discounts

Create and manage discounts seen under Settings > Catalog in the left navigation menu.

Create and manage email templates

Create and manage email templates, seen under Settings > Proposal in the left navigation menu.

These permissions can be set under "Settings > Account > Users & Permissions" at the level of a user group.
