A
Written by Ashok P

The following are the FAQs about using the D-Tools Payments solution.

Q: I am using a third-party integration to collect payments. Do I have to do anything different to collect payments using D-Tools Payments?

A: No. Once you have enabled D-Tools Payments, all invoices will show D-Tools Payments as the Online Payment Collection option. Customers will not see any difference when making the payment.

Q: How can I track the payments collected using D-Tools Payments?

A: You can track the status of invoices on the Billing page. This is the same way you used to track invoices on Cloud.

Once the customer has completed the payment process, you can track it on the Transactions page (for all types of payments) and the Deposits page (for payments deposited into your bank account).

Q: How can I track failed transactions?

A: The credit card and ACH transactions that were not processed will show a "Failed" status on the "Billing > Transactions" page. You can see the response codes of the failed credit card transactions and the return reasons of the failed ACH transactions.

Q: What happens when there is an ACH Return against a payment?

A: The relevant invoice will be reset for the customer, and they can use an alternate payment method to make the payment.

Q: How are refunds processed when using D-Tools Payments?

A: You can issue a refund for a transaction directly within D-Tools Cloud.
