The items in your inventory locations may have been damaged or used in projects that are not tracked on Cloud. In such cases, you may want to manually adjust the on-hand quantity so the "Available" quantity is accurate and the "Allocated" quantity can be installed on time.

To manually adjust the on-hand quantity in the Inventory Pools mode:

1/ Go to “Inventory” in the left navigation menu.

2/ Click an inventory-tracked item, and you will see its side panel.

3/ Click "Adjust quantity," and you see a modal to adjust the quantity. Here, you can see all inventory locations where the item is stocked.

4/ In the "Adjust Quantity Reason" dropdown, select the reason.

5/ In the "New on-hand quantity" column of the location where you want to adjust the quantity, enter the new quantity.

You can enter a quantity that is lower or higher than the current one. Once you have entered the new quantity across one or more locations, you will see the new adjusted on-hand quantity below the locations table.

In this screenshot, we changed the quantity to 6 in the Warehouse location and set 'Breakage' as the reason.

If the new Available quantity is lower than the current Available quantity, you will see a prompt to unreserve/release items from the projects in which they are reserved.

6/ Set the release quantity in the Release column of the projects.

7/ Select the "I acknowledge ...." message, and click the "Release items" button.

8/ Back on the modal, click the "Adjust" button. The new on-hand quantity is set for the item, with accurate "Available" and "Allocated" quantities.

In the IAM mode, you can select the specific assets to be associated with the on-hand quantity adjustment.
