It may be necessary to have a cover page when you want to share the PDF of a proposal. Cloud has some options to customize the cover page.
To customize the cover page, go to the "Edit" view of the proposal and click the "Edit" icon of the Cover section. This will open the left panel and show the options to customize the cover page.
Here are some key points to know when customizing the cover page.
The Cover section will appear by default in proposals that use the Multimedia layout. Proposals using the Quick Quote layout do not support cover pages.
Cloud will automatically add opportunity and customer details in the "Overview" tab in the left panel and the company details in the "Company" tab. If you notice that any of the company or customer details are not shown, then it wasn't added to Cloud. You can go to Settings and add all the details, which will be shown on the cover page.
You have the option to add an image to the cover page.
The Cover section is optional. If you don't want it, click the "Delete" icon of the Cover section to delete it.
The cover page of the proposal may look slightly different when presented or shared compared to the proposal PDF.
You have the following tabs to customize the cover page:
Overview - here, you have the option to select and display all or some of the opportunity and customer details individually.
Image - here, you have the option to add the cover image and set its overlay.
Company - here, you have the option to display all or some of the company details.
