When scheduling a service call, you have the option to notify the customer about the schedule. Cloud sends an email notification to the customer on the email associated with their Cloud account.
To notify the customer, select the "Notify client about the schedule" check box.
The call schedule email will have an Event.ICS (Internet Calendaring and Scheduling) file attachment. Customers will be able to add the call schedule event details to the Calendar in the email client or import the ICS file to another Calendar application that supports ICS files.
This can help them see the service call schedule in their common calendar and use features such as Daily Agenda or Reminders available on the Calendar application to be ready for the technician visit.
