Adding wire paths

Once you have set the scale reference for the floor plan, you can add the wire paths depending on how the products are distributed.

To add a wire path, click the "Add Wirepath" icon on the toolbar. A default L-shaped path will be added to the floor plan.

You can do the following to edit the default path and create the actual path you want on the floor plan.

To move the path to the appropriate location on the floor plan, drag the path to the location.

To stretch or shrink the default path, select the relevant Green handler and drag it in the desired direction.

To extend the path to the third wall, click and drag the Green arrow of the relevant vertex to the desired location.

Once the path is final, you can configure the path with details such as a name for the path, a distinct color to identify the path, rise, fall, and extra cable length.

To add the details, click the wire path and click "Show Details." This will open the side panel to configure the path.

The side panel also has the option to add the actual cable, wire, conduit, and raceway items from the Cloud catalog. This experience is very much like adding items/products in the quotes.
