This article explains how to set a 'Scale' for using Wirepath.
You must first set the scale when you want to add wire paths to your plan.
To set the scale:
Go to the plan view in the quote and then to the "Wirepath" view. This will show a "Set Plan View Scale" modal.
Click "Set scale" in the modal, and you will see a Scale reference on the floor plan.
Zoom in and drag the Scale reference to a door on the floor plan. Then, use the green handlers to adjust the scale to the width of the door.
Add the door width in the "Set Length" field at the top, and click "Save."
In this example, we set the scale across the front door that is 3 feet wide.
If you consider the scale reference an obstruction on the floor plan, drag it out and place it outside the plan's boundary.
If, for some reason, the scale reference was deleted or you want to edit the scale reference, click the "Set Scale" icon on the toolbar and do the same as you did to set the scale originally. Note that editing the scale after adding the wire paths changes the cable length calculations.
