When defining the “Included Service Calls” feature in a service plan, you have the option to provide service without any labor charges. For example, “Maximum of 2 service calls per month at no charge. Additional service calls are billed at a rate of $50 per call”.

By default, Cloud will add the labor charges for a call when the technician adds the labor type and hours. If the call falls under the free-calls limit, you will need to waive off the labor charges for the call.

To waive off labor:

  1. Go to the “Work Summary” tab in the call.

  2. Click “Labor Time,” and this will open the modal for labor.

  3. Click the 3-dot menu of a labor entry and click “Edit.”

  4. Select the ”Include in service contract” option. Now, labor for this entry will not be added to the payment request for the call.

If there are multiple labor entries, you will need to select this option for all entries.
