Once the technician has resolved the reported issues from the call and completed the call in the Field user view, the call moves to the “Ready for Payment Request” status. You can now request payment from the customer.
While you are able to collect payment through any of your preferred methods, D-Tools Cloud supports integrations with well-known payment processing solutions such as ProPay and Clover Connect.
If you want to enable payment integrations, check out this article.
Request payment
To create a payment request, navigate to the Details view of the completed call. Click “Request payment” in the top-right corner. This will open a modal.
Follow these steps in the modal:
Set the billing and due dates and edit the tax rate and truck roll fees if needed.
Include a message for the customer, and optionally apply this message to all future payment requests.
If a payment integration is enabled, it will populate here. Select it to allow the customer to make a payment for the service.
Click “Create” to create the request. This will show the payment request and the call moves to the “Payment Requested” status.
*Once a payment request is created for a call, Cloud locks all the editing capabilities of the call, and you will not be able to make changes in the call log.
If you need to revise the request, check out this article.
