Using keyboard shortcuts when using the Drawings functionality

Written by Amy Blanton

Want to use your keyboard to work with the shapes, lines, products, and wire paths when using the Drawings functionality? Well, we've got you covered.

All drawings created using the Drawing functionality support various keyboard shortcuts. These shortcuts are located on the toolbar at the bottom.

Shortcuts are categorized as those for:

  • Editing: Shortcuts for deleting, nudging, and centering objects or images.

  • Application: Shortcuts for zooming the view to your preference.

To see the complete list of shortcuts, click the "Keyboard" icon on the toolbar. This will open a side panel with the list of shortcut keys.

Select the correct object or image before pressing the shortcut key.

If you want to move multiple objects or images in one action, press the SHIFT key before you select the first object, release the key after you select the last object, and press the shortcut key.
