You don't have to always create proposal templates under Settings upfront. You can use our default template, add and delete sections and customize them, change the design, and then save the proposal in which you are making the changes as a proposal template.
The instructions in this article apply to Project Proposal templates, Service Proposal templates, and Change Order templates.
To save the proposal settings as a template, go to the Edit proposal view, click the "Templates" icon, and click "Save as new template."
The following is an example of how to save the changes as a new template for a project proposal.
Type in a name for the template and click "Create." The current sections, their customization settings, and the design of the proposal will be saved as a new template under "Settings > Proposal," and you can use this for future proposals.
If you want to save the changes to the same template (update and overwrite the currently applied template), click "Save template."
