One common request is for integrators to want to upgrade a client's TV, rack, speakers, etc. With item alternates, you can do this! To do this, follow the steps below in your quote:

  1. Add the item the user already has to your quote
  2. Mark that item as client-supplied (this will make the item $0 and still allow you to assign labor and accessories to it, so you can use it in plan views and still include it in your system design)
  3. In the item sidebar, go down to add alternates, and follow the steps of adding alternate items on to the client-supplied item

And then present!

Note: this is different than adding on optional items, like giving them the option for that extra TV in the office. (This is on our roadmap 😊 )
