Know how to stay on top of your Change Orders

Here are some things you can do to track Change Order (CO) creations and updates by you and your team members.

Check Dashboard

Go to Dashboard and use the All opportunities or My opportunities filter. See the Recent Change Orders widget to see all COs currently being worked on or sent to customers.

See Change Orders for a Project

In the Project view, in the Change Orders tab, you can view all the COs for that Project. Here you can also see the status, amount, owner, and created date of the COs.

Update a Change Order Status

You can update a CO status in the State column in the Change Orders tab.

In the Project activity feed, you can see when a CO was created or deleted and when the status has changed (Presented, Approved, Declined, etc.)

Add Resources to Change Orders

Add all required resources to the Project, so they get alerted when the status of the CO changes. In the Project view, click the "Plus" icon next to the View BOM button and add the resources.

Customize Change Order Statuses

We provide some default statuses for COs. You can customize and add new ones from Project > Change Order States under Settings.
