What fields can I import for products into D-Tools Cloud?

Most fields you can enter or update for a product in the D-Tools Cloud catalog can be imported via a CSV or Excel file. Some advanced functionality, such as the accessories and alternate sets for products, will have to be specified from the Cloud UI itself.

Here is the list of some fields you can import via CSV or Excel file.

  • Brand - Text, match to existing

  • Model (required) - Text

  • Category (recommended) - Select from existing or uncategorized

  • Supplier - Text, match to existing

  • Subcategory - Select from existing or leave uncategorized

  • Part Number - Text

  • System - Text, match to existing for better reporting

  • Phase - Text, match to existing for better reporting

  • Short Description - Text

  • Description - Text

  • Discontinued - Yes or No

  • Taxable - Yes or No

  • MSRP - Number ($)

  • Unit Price - Number ($)

  • Until Cost - Number ($)

  • Labor Hours - Number (Hours)

  • Height - Number 

  • Width - Number 

  • Depth - Number 

  • Weight - Number 

  • Rack Mounted - Yes or No

  • Rack Units - Number

  • Amps - Number 

  • Volts - Number 

  • Watts - Number 

  • BTU - Number
