You can import products from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to D-Tools Cloud. To do this, you should first export the products from QBO in an Excel file, and then import it into Cloud.
Export from QBO
To export products:
1/ In QBO, go to "Sales > Products and Services."
2/ Filter for the products you want to export.
3/ In the upper right area of the table of products, click the "Export" button. This will export the products to an Excel file.
4/ In MS Excel, you should split the Product/Service column.
To do this, you will want to insert a column to the right of Product/Service Name, highlight column A, and then go to Data >Text to Columns.
Now select delimited, and delimited by a colon ":" (QBO uses colons to split brand and model from D-Tools Cloud. This could be different based on how these products were entered. Learn more about splitting columns here.
After you split the columns, ensure both have a column header. To make it easy, name them by brand and model.
Save the file, and ready to import it into D-Tools Cloud.
Import to Cloud
Within Cloud, go to the "Catalog > My Products" and initiate the Import Products workflow. In the workflow, you can map the headers, brand, and other columns.
