There are two different ways to create a package inside D-Tools Cloud. You can either create the packages inside your Catalog and have these set up and available to choose from when building quotes down the road, or you can build packages on the fly as you're working on putting together quotes.

Creating a Package inside the Catalog

To create a package inside the Catalog, open up D-Tools Cloud and navigate to Catalog.

Click the Packages tab and then click the "New Package" button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

You can create two types of packages: a Product and Labor package (used for projects where you supply products, install them and even possibly do repair and maintenance) and a Labor package (typically used for labor-only Services offerings).

Creating a Package Shortcut in the Catalog

You can select multiple products in the Catalog and click the "Action on x selected" dropdown on the right-hand side of the screen.

Then, click "Create a new package." This will open up a popup to create a new package with the selected products already loaded in.

Creating a Package inside the Quote

To create a new package inside the quote, navigate to the quote and click in the Search bar.

When the search bar expands, click the "Create a new item" option in the bottom right and select the type of package you want to create.
