When working on multiple opportunities, it may be necessary to prioritize them based on factors such as expected project value or rapport with a repeat customer. Customers may also ask to expedite the project if it is carried out for a specific purpose.

Priority of an opportunity

Opportunities you add to Cloud can be tagged with a "Priority" label when creating them.

To set a priority for an opportunity when creating it, select the suitable priority at the top of the New Opportunity modal.

By default, Cloud will set the priority to "Medium." You can change this in the details view of the opportunity.

Priority of the project

The priority you set for the opportunity carries over to the relevant project when you mark the opportunity as "Won."

You can change the priority that came with the opportunity. To do so, go to the Details view of the project and then change the priority at the top of the page.

Filtering and sorting by priority

The "Priority" filter is available on both the Opportunities and Projects pages. In the List view, you can also sort the opportunities or projects to see those of very high or low priority at the top.

Filtering and sorting capabilities can help sales representatives identify which deals to close first and assist project managers in allocating time and resources to priority projects.
