The D-Tools Cloud Ideas portal is a single place to provide feedback on current features and add ideas for new ones.
You will need to sign up to the Ideas portal the first time you access it. You can also go to the portal by clicking “Request a feature” under the Profile icon on the Cloud UI.
Adding an idea
To add an idea:
1/ Go to the Ideas portal and click "Add a new idea" in the top-left corner.
You will see a form to add the idea.
2/ Add a title and a description of the idea. Attach files if any.
3/ Select the feature category for the idea.
4/ Click "Add idea."
Your idea will be added to the portal and will be visible to all Cloud customers.
Viewing ideas
Click "My ideas" to view the ideas you added to the portal. By default, you will see all ideas in the portal.
You can filter ideas in the "Filter by category" panel on the left and/or by using the "Filter by status" filter in the top-right corner.
You can sort ideas by using the "Sort by" option next to the Filter by status filter.
If you want to search for a specific idea, you can type in the search criteria in the Search box in the top-left corner.
Upvoting and Commenting
The Ideas portal will show ideas from all our customers.
If the idea you have is already in the portal, you can upvote it.
If you want to contribute to the idea or provide feedback, you can add a comment.
Tracking ideas
The D-Tools Cloud team monitors all ideas and pays close attention to those with high upvote and comment counts.
Select "Planned" in the Filter by status filter to see ideas the Cloud team has prioritized for implementation as features.
