When creating plan view drawings, you may want to see the details of items added to the drawing. The Drawings functionality offers two distinct options for viewing item-level details in plan view drawings: Item Info and Tooltip.
You can configure the Item Info and Tooltip settings to show the level of item detail you want from the plan view drawing toolbar.
Item Info
Item Info is the list of item details displayed for an item in a plan view drawing. The "Settings" icon on the toolbar offers 2 settings to configure how item details are displayed.
Show/Hide Item Info
The "Show/Hide Item Info" setting lets you show or hide item details. By default, for a new plan view drawing, Cloud does not show the item details.
To show item details, click the "Settings" icon on the toolbar, then click "Show Item Info."
You will now see that all items in the drawing show their model number next to them in a callout. You can move the callout around, outward or inward.
To hide it, click the "Settings" icon on the toolbar, then click "Hide Item Info." |  |
Item Info Settings
The "Item Info Settings" setting lets you choose what item details to show in the Item Info callout.
By default, only the model number is shown; you can select other details you want to show.
To select item details, click the "Settings" icon on the toolbar, then click "Item Info Settings."
If you have comments for items, selecting "Comment Reference" as a detail shows a panel on the left with comments added via the tooltip and clickable hyperlinks with comment numbers next to them.
You can select the leader line checkbox to display a line attached to the item details callout. When you move the callout, the line will stay attached to the item.
In the "Font size" area, you can set the font size of the text displayed in the callout. |

Tooltip Settings
In a plan view drawing, hovering over an item displays a tooltip with item details. The "Tooltip Settings" setting lets you choose what item details to show in the tooltip.
To select the item details to show in the tooltip, click the "Settings" icon on the toolbar, then click "Tooltip Settings."
By default, all item details will be displayed. You can deselect the ones you don't want in the tooltip.
