A
Written by Ashok P

The D-Tools Cloud release R100 was made available to customers on the 9th of July, 2026.

The following new features and improvements were released in the D-Tools Cloud R100 release.

Accounting and Payments

QuickBooks Online & Xero integration filters

New Integrations filters have been added across supported project, invoice, purchase order, billing, and change order views. These filters let users quickly find records that are mapped or not mapped to QuickBooks Online or Xero based on the integrations enabled for the account.

▶ Accelerated ACH Deposits

Accelerated ACH Deposits can now be enabled in D-Tools Payments Settings, allowing eligible ACH payments to be funded on a T+1 schedule. The feature includes account-level enablement controls, confirmation dialogs, and invoice badges that show whether accelerated ACH is active.

▶ Payment details on paid invoices

Paid invoices now display payment method details to non-D-Tools users for payments processed through D-Tools Payments. Digital invoices show a Payment Details section, while PDF invoices show the payment method beneath the invoice summary.

▶ Redesigned invoice summaries

Invoice summary sections have been redesigned to show totals, payments, fees, refunds, and remaining balances more clearly across digital and PDF invoices. The updated layout consistently reflects convenience fees, ACH reject fees, refund placement, and balance due calculations for all supported invoice types.

Service call invoice PDF naming

Service call invoice PDF downloads now use the same naming convention as other invoice types. Files are downloaded using the account name and invoice number instead of the generic payments.pdf filename.

Catalog

▶ Import review flags missing Brand or Model

The catalog import review step now flags rows with missing Brand or Model values before import is committed. A new failure filter and inline warnings make these problem rows easy to identify, and import actions are updated so users do not proceed without addressing them.

▶ US territory supplier visibility

Dealers in US territories can now see US-based suppliers in the supplier filtering flow. Territory names and codes are treated as US values, so affected dealers gain access to the same supplier catalog visibility as other US-based accounts.

▶ Expanded supplier auto-authorization

Lead source supplier registration flows now support broader supplier auto-authorization behavior across all supported authorization credential types. The registration prompt can now appear regardless of dealer country, and additional credential fields are supported for both immediate connections and approval requests.

CRM

▶ Salesperson profile pictures on Accounts

The Accounts page now shows salesperson profile pictures in the Salesperson column when a profile image is available. If no profile picture exists, the existing initials display is still used.

▶ Account type change activity log

Changing an account’s type now creates an activity log entry on the account. The activity message records both the previous and new account type values for easier auditing.

Drawings

▶ Lock and unlock drawings

Users can now lock or unlock drawings and their associated bill of materials directly from the Drawing Manager. Locked drawings are clearly identified and remain protected from edits across refreshes and future sessions until they are unlocked by a user with permission.

▶ Title Block Manager

A new Title Block Manager provides a centralized place to browse, preview, apply, edit, rename, duplicate, and delete title blocks from the diagram manager. The manager uses a two-panel layout with a title block list and live preview, making it easier to manage reusable drawing layouts.

▶ Title Block Editor

A new Title Block Editor lets users create and edit title blocks for drawings using configurable paper sizes, grid layouts, mapped fields, and reusable content boxes. It also supports cover and index pages, field-driven auto-population, and direct application of title blocks within the drawing workflow.

▶ Title Block Editor canvas toolbar

The Title Block Editor now includes a dedicated canvas toolbar with controls to place boxes, select objects, delete content, refresh the canvas, auto-fit the layout, zoom, and lock the toolbar. These controls remain available within the editing workspace to streamline title block design.

▶ Multiple connections between the same devices

Users can now create multiple wired connections between the same two devices without overwriting existing links. Each connection retains its own ports and cable metadata, and the interface displays them clearly for review, editing, and documentation.

▶ Title Block Manager in Settings

Title Block Manager is now also available from Settings under Drawing, giving users another centralized place to manage title blocks. From this view, users can create, iterate on, edit, delete, share, and set default title blocks, with changes propagating across supported drawing workflows.

▶ Connection View from Overview

Users can now create a Connection View from the Overview > Drawing area by selecting systems and locations to define the scope. The generated workspace filters the project data accordingly and provides a separate visualization surface for connecting AV and network devices.

▶ Customizable Cover Page

A customizable Cover Page is now available in the drawing manager as a reusable first page for project documentation. Users can apply title blocks, edit mapped fields, and customize branding and layout content directly within the drawing workflow.

▶ Title blocks on proposal attachments

Proposal attachments can now open Plan View diagrams with the selected title block already applied. The proposal editing flow supports browsing quote and opportunity diagram assets, adding them as attachments, and reopening them in context with the saved title block selection.

▶ Standardized diagram export filenames

Diagram exports for quote drawings now use a standardized filename format that includes the opportunity, quote, drawing type, drawing name, and timestamp. This naming is applied consistently across PDF and PNG export flows for all supported drawing types.

▶ Two-step connection workflow

Diagrams now support a two-step connection workflow in which users select one item, then a second item to create a link. After the connection is made, both items are automatically deselected, and a Refresh control is available to reload the diagram state.

General

▶ Webhook Delivery Log

A new Webhook Delivery Log gives users visibility into webhook delivery activity for their account. It includes filtering, search, delivery detail views, summary statistics, and manual retry support for failed or dead-lettered deliveries.

▶ Internal link copy confirmation

Copying an internal link from externally shared areas now shows a confirmation prompt before proceeding. The message explains that the copied link requires a valid D-Tools Cloud user and directs users toward the share link option for external recipients.

▶ Manage Settings permission

A new Manage settings permission gives administrators control over which users can access the Settings area. Users without this permission no longer see Settings in the navigation, cannot open bookmarked settings pages, and lose access to global settings entry points, while retaining access to personal profile settings.

Inventory

▶ Asset condition tracking

Assets can now store a condition value, making it easier to track inventory states such as new, used, needs repair, or not functional. Condition is visible and filterable in asset lists, editable on the asset page with color-coded statuses, and recorded in inventory activity history, along with optional supporting images.

▶ Pool-tracked product detail page

Pool-tracked products now open a dedicated inventory detail page variant that keeps the existing route and summary layout while replacing the assets table with a by-location quantity view. This gives users a product detail experience tailored to quantity-based inventory without changing the workflow for units-tracked products.

▶ Adjust Quantity for pool-tracked products

Pool-tracked products now support the existing Adjust Quantity workflow from the product detail page by location. Users can open the modal from a location row, update on-hand quantities across locations, apply an adjustment reason, and immediately refresh the detail page totals.

▶ Mixed-batch inventory receiving

The Receive Inventory flow now supports mixed batches of pool-tracked and units-tracked products in the same session. Pool-tracked rows show quantity and location only, while units-tracked rows continue to support serial entry and QR-related workflows, with badges indicating each product’s tracking method.

▶ Bulk Update Assets with mixed tracking modes

Bulk Update Assets now supports selections that include both units-tracked and pool-tracked products. Units-tracked assets remain editable in bulk, while pool-tracked products are excluded, with clear messaging and product lists explaining that they are managed through quantity-based actions instead.

▶ Smarter onboarding banner counts

The inventory onboarding banner now counts only asset records for units-tracked products. It also filters banner counts to supported source types so pool-tracked products and unrelated asset records no longer appear in the onboarding prompt.

▶ Tracking mode change guardrails

Changing a product’s tracking mode now checks for active allocations before allowing the update. If a product is reserved, checked out, or otherwise actively allocated, the change is blocked, and the user is shown the related projects, service calls, or tasks that must be cleared first.

▶ Tracking mode change auditing

Tracking mode changes are now fully auditable at both the product and asset levels. Product activity history includes tracking mode change events, and asset activity now records created or archived actions when product mode changes generate or archive asset records.

▶ Check-out flow by tracking method

Automatic inventory check-out on install status changes now branches by product tracking method. Units-tracked items continue to check out silently, while pool-tracked items open the existing quantity-and-location check-out modal so users can choose where to remove inventory.

▶ Quick-allocation check-out controls

The Check Out Items from Inventory dialog now includes per-row quick-allocation controls with minus, quantity, plus, and Fill or Clear actions. These controls help users allocate quantities more quickly while respecting each item’s remaining required amount and each row’s available stock.

▶ Per-product Units or Pools tracking

Products can now be configured individually to use Units or Pools tracking when IAM is enabled. The setting is available on the Stock Settings tab, persists independently of category after creation, and drives how asset records or pooled quantities are managed for that product.

▶ Mixed-mode CSV import and export

Advanced Inventory CSV import and export now support mixed files containing both units-tracked and pool-tracked products. Exports include tracking mode information, and imports process each row according to the product’s current tracking method while validating pool-specific quantity and location requirements.

▶ Received date on QR labels

QR labels can now include a received date field. This allows received-date information to be surfaced directly on printed labels for supported inventory workflows.

▶ Project Asset Pick List report

A new Project Asset Pick List report can now be generated from the Project Item Status page. The printable PDF supports both inventory modes, respects the current page filters or selected rows, and provides location-based picking details for installers and warehouse teams.

▶ Move inventory for pool-tracked products

Pool-tracked products now support the existing Move inventory workflow between locations from the product detail page. Users can launch the modal from a location row, move the available quantity to another location, and refresh the by-location totals after saving.

▶ Auto-fill check-out from trunk locations

The Check Out Items from Inventory dialog now includes an Auto-fill from selector for top-level trunk locations such as warehouses, vehicles, and sites. Choosing a trunk automatically populates checkout quantities when stock exists in a single qualifying child location within that subtree.

▶ Warehouse location QR labels

Warehouse location QR labels can now be generated and printed for all nodes in the location hierarchy or for a selected location and its sub-locations. Scanning these labels can auto-select locations in inventory workflows and also supports launching a bulk edit flow for assets stored in the scanned location.

▶ Pool-tracked service call allocation

Service call inventory allocation now supports both units-tracked and pool-tracked products. Unit products continue to use the existing asset picker, while pool-tracked products use a new quantity-based allocation and unallocation flow with tracking-mode badges for clarity.

▶ Bulk set inventory mode

Catalog users can now bulk-set the inventory mode for multiple selected products in the product list. The available bulk actions adapt based on whether the selection is all Units, all Pools, or mixed, and each change still honors the existing tracking-mode guard checks.

▶ Unified project item reservation

Project item reservation now supports units-only, pools-only, and mixed selections in a single flow. The experience reuses existing reservation tools where possible and adds a unified page for mixed selections, allowing quantity-based and asset-based reservations to be completed together.

▶ Asset schedule status audit log

Asset project schedule status changes are now fully tracked in the audit log, including who made the change, when it occurred, and the old and new values. Status badges for assets have also been updated with standardized colors across list and detail views.

Opportunities and Quotes

▶ Subscriptions in the Opportunity Dashboard

The Opportunity Dashboard now includes subscription amounts in the Opportunities This Month chart totals. The summary values have also been reformatted into separate stacked totals for overall, project, service, and subscription revenue.

▶ Duplicate proposal templates

Proposal templates can now be duplicated directly from the template list. The duplicate flow opens a modal with a default copied name, preserves the source template’s settings, and adds the new template back into the grid after creation.

▶ Optional tax disclaimer on proposals

Proposal settings now support an optional tax disclaimer that can be controlled globally, at the template level, and on individual proposals. When enabled, the standard disclaimer appears beneath tax totals in proposal views and PDF exports for supported proposal types.

▶ Combined Total on opportunity tables

Opportunities and related dashboard tables now include a new overall Total value alongside separate project, service, and subscription totals. Existing Total labels have been clarified where needed, and CSV exports have been updated to include the new combined total fields.

▶ Activity log entries for quantity changes

Direct quantity changes to quote items, accessories, allowances, packages, and labor now create entries in the activity log. These entries capture the before-and-after values and identify the affected quote item and quote number for clearer change tracking.

▶ Cost values on adjustments

Adjustments can now include cost values in addition to price values, improving margin accuracy across quotes, projects, and reporting. New fields and options support manual or synchronized cost entry, and the additional cost data is carried through adjustment settings and applied adjustment workflows.

▶ Improved quote item search

The Edit Quote design experience has been updated to make quote item search easier to find and use. The search bar now stays expanded with updated placeholder text, and the Add bar has been simplified to reduce confusion with search behavior.

▶ Won confirmation includes all revenue

The opportunity Won confirmation flow now includes service contract and subscription revenue in the displayed total. The dialog label has also been updated from "Actual Close Date" to "Actual Close" for consistency.

▶ Design renamed to Quoting

The Design button label on the Edit Quote left navigation has been updated to Quoting. This change makes the navigation terminology clearer within the quote editing experience.

▶ Update Quantity option in Update Instances

The Update Instances flow now includes an optional Update Quantity checkbox, allowing users to decide whether selected quantities should be pushed to related items. The layout has also been adjusted to remove the standalone quantity column and show quantity within the location display.

▶ New quote items added to the bottom

When quote items are sorted by display order, newly added items are now placed at the bottom of the list. This makes item placement more predictable and avoids inserting new items in the middle of existing quote content.

Projects

▶ Contract Information widget permission

Project Overview now includes a dedicated permission for the Contract Information widget. Users without access can still see the widget shell and View Information link, but the widget body is replaced with guidance to contact an administrator.

▶ Billing & Payments widget permission

Project Overview now includes a dedicated permission for the Billing & Payments widget. Users without access see an informational message in place of the widget body, while authorized users continue to see billing and payment details.

Reports

▶ Lost Opportunities gadget refresh

The Lost Opportunities gadget on Sales Results has been updated for better consistency with nearby report widgets. It now shows a Total Lost label, uses a consistent height, displays reasons in two columns, and supports expansion for additional detail.

▶ Sales Forecast report updates

The Sales Forecast report has been updated with clearer labels, improved gadget text formatting, and better export placement. Date filtering now includes additional preset ranges, projection views continue to show months with zero opportunities, and navigation from forecast records preserves the reporting context.

▶ Total view in the Sales gadget

The Sales Results report now includes a Total option in the Sales gadget. This new default view combines project, service contract, subscription, and service call revenue into a single total without double-counting opportunities.

▶ More preset date filters on Sales Results

The Sales Results report now includes additional preset date filters for last week, this week, last month, last quarter, and last year. These new options are organized alongside the existing current-period filters for faster report setup.

▶ Sales Results details view

Sales Results now includes a dedicated details view that opens from the report header or directly from the Sales Leaderboard. The new page preserves the selected report filters, shows the records behind the reported results in data grids, and supports exporting the filtered result set.

▶ Subscriptions in Sales Forecast

Subscriptions are now included throughout the Sales Forecast report totals and forecast calculations. The leaderboard tooltip content has also been updated so that subscription values appear alongside the other revenue categories.

▶ Subscriptions in Sales Results

Subscriptions now flow through the broader sales process and are included in Sales Results reporting. The update adds subscription totals to won opportunity calculations, leaderboard columns, CSV exports, sales gadget views, and related brand and supplier reporting values.
