The D-Tools AI Scope of Work capability allows you to generate a preliminary draft of the scope of work in quotes. D-Tools AI will scan the quote for the details it needs to generate the draft scope of work.

D-Tools AI will include the following in the draft scope of work.

  • The name on the account and the name of the primary contact

  • The area included in the project

  • The site address you specified for the opportunity

  • Brief descriptions of all systems in the quote, with the high-level details of the items in them. The descriptions are generated using the descriptions in the catalog

  • A bulleted list of installation actions for each system (with selected themes)

  • Products included in the packages

Currently, it does not factor in the service plans and subscriptions in the quote.

Cloud will allow you to create the scope of work using 3 distinct themes, each with a different format and purpose.

  • Detailed & Consultative: Designed for high-end projects, this theme does not generate the text for installation actions.

  • Concise & Technical: Designed for quick, straightforward projects, this theme generates text for installation actions.

  • Client-Centric & Storytelling: Designed to provide a storytelling experience, this generates the text for installation actions.

You will need to know the following to use the D-Tools AI Scope of Work capability.

  • The quote will need to have at least one product with a system associated with it.

  • The wait time to generate the scope of work depends on the number of items in the quote.

  • You can update the scope of work with more details, add images, insert links and videos, insert snippets, and all other options available in the Cloud Rich Text editor.

  • You can change the formatting of the text in the scope of work as needed.

  • You will see the generated scope of work in the "Scope of Work" section in the proposal.
