You can disable Advanced Inventory and downgrade to Basic Inventory if you do not want to use the Advanced Inventory features.
This article is relevant to an Inventory Management user who wants to downgrade to Basic Inventory. If you want to disable the complete Inventory Management functionality, check out this article.
To disable Advanced Inventory:
1/ Go to "Settings > Inventory > Inventory Settings" in the left navigation menu.
2/ Click "Disable Advanced" under Inventory Settings.
3/ Select the "I understand.." check box.
4/ Click "Export Inventory Assets" if you want to download the current list of inventory-tracked items along with the asset-level details of the items.
5/ Click "Disable and delete."
You will see the "Upgrade to Advanced" button.
After you disable the Advanced mode for Inventory Management, the following happens:
All asset-level details, such as serial number, IP address, MAC address, and QR labels, will be deleted from Cloud.
All assets allocated to projects and service calls by their serial number or QR code will be unallocated.
The Inventory Management functionality is downgraded to Basic Inventory, with Cloud retaining only counts of inventory-tracked items, their inventory levels, and associations with inventory locations.
