Working Offline on the D-Tools Cloud Mobile app

You can work offline on the D-Tools Cloud Mobile app, that is, without an Internet connection. When working offline, data related to project tasks, service calls, meetings, and to-dos is stored locally in the app's local database on the phone.

The capabilities when working offline on the D-Tools Cloud Mobile app are the same for both Field Users and Office Users.

Users can perform the following actions while offline:

Attendance

  • Use the Clock In and Clock Out functionality

Projects and Service Calls

  • Use the Start Job and End Job functionality for projects and service calls

Project details

  • View project details

Task details

Edit the following details of tasks: task name, status, due date, effort, task group, checklist, item install status (for non-inventory items only), notes, and photos.

To-Do details

Edit the following details of to-dos: name, priority, due date, reminder date, description, checklist, and photos.

Meeting events

  • View meeting event details

Service call details

  • Edit the following details of service calls: issue found, action taken, next steps, service reason, notes, checklist, photos, and labor time.

  • Mark service calls as Completed with a sign-off

Time entries

  • Add, edit, and delete time entries

The Cloud Mobile app will cache the following data for 15 days, the last 7 days, today, and the next 7 days in the phone's offline database.

  • Project task events, service calls, and meetings

  • To-dos based on their due dates.

  • Most recent 100 time entries per user
