If you have enabled the Inventory Asset Management (IAM) mode, you can manage all inventory-tracked items (both asset-tracked and pool-tracked) from the Inventory page.
You can do the following to manage inventory-tracked items in the IAM mode.
Order items
You can order inventory-tracked items using the Procurement functionality on Cloud.
To order items, select the items, click "Action on selected," and then click "Create or add to existing purchase order."

Check in items
There are various ways to check in items into inventory locations.
#1 Check in items from the Inventory page
To check in items from the Inventory page:
1/ Select one or more items.
2/ Click "Action on selected" in the top-right corner.
3/ Click "Check in."
You will see the Check in Items modal to check in items into the inventory locations.
4/ Select the locations for the items, specify the quantity, and add the serial numbers of the items if needed.
If one or more items you have selected for check-in are pool-tracked, you will not see the option to input serial numbers.
5/ Click "Check in."
#2 Check in items from the inventory-tracked item's details page
To check in items from the inventory-tracked item's details page:
1/ Click the item on the Inventory page.
2/ Go to the "By Location" tab.
3/ Click "Check in" next to a location, and you will see the Check in Items modal to check in the items.
#3 Receive and check in items using the scanner
To receive and check in items using the scanner:
1/ Click "Scan" in the top right corner of the inventory items table.
You will see the Scan modal.
2/ Click "Batch Receive" in the modal.
3/ Select the location to check in items and click "Confirm Destination."
4/ Point the scanner at the UPC or enter the item attributes such as serial number, asset ID, IP address, or part number.
5/ Specify the quantity, and add the serial numbers of the items if needed.
You can use a scanner that reads serial numbers to quickly scan and enter them.
5/ Click "Start scanning" to receive the next item to check in.
6/ Click "Complete Batch Receive" when you have received all items.
Remove items from Inventory Management
To remove items from the purview of Inventory Management:
1/ Select the items and click "Action on selected."
2/ Click "No longer track items in inventory."
3/ Click "Yes" in the pop-up.
Update Inventory mode
To update the items' inventory mode, select the items and click "Action on selected."
If the items you have selected are all asset-tracked, click "Update inventory mode to pool." Check out this article for more details about the effects of updating the inventory mode of items to Inventory Pools.
If the items you have selected are all pool-tracked, click "Update inventory mode to unitized." Check out this article for more details about the effects of updating the mode of items to IAM.
If you selected a combination of asset-tracked and pool-tracked items, click one of "Update inventory mode to pool" or "Update inventory mode to unitized." The effects will depend on the mode you are switching to.
Update asset-tracked item details
To update the details of asset-tracked items, click "Action on selected," and then click "Bulk update asset information."
You can update the following details of asset-tracked items: serial number, IP address, MAC address, and firmware version.

If one or more items you have selected for check-in are pool-tracked, you will not see the options to update their details.
