If you have enabled Advanced Inventory on Cloud, you can add asset-level details, such as the serial number, to track specific assets allocated to projects and service calls.
One way to add the details is to enter them manually in the Cloud UI. This article explains how to do that. Another way to add the details is to upload a CSV file containing them.

To update the asset-level details:
1/ Go to "Inventory" in the left navigation menu.
2/ Select one or more items and click "Bulk update asset information" in the Actions menu located at the top of the items table.
You will see a page where you can add the details of the items.
3/ You can add the following details on this page.
Asset ID: by default, the asset ID is the complete product name with special characters removed, followed by a hyphen (-), followed by the complete part number, and a 4-digit number starting at 0001 and incrementing as you check in more items of the same type. For example, Apple-APPLETV4KWIFI-MN873LLA-0001.
Serial number: Once you enter the serial number, you can press Enter on the keyboard to specify that a serial number is entered completely, and the cursor will skip to the serial number for the next asset. You can also use the handheld scanner to enter the serial number quickly in bulk.
Two unique MAC addresses and IP addresses, Firmware version, cost, and notes: You can add these if they are available and are needed.
When printing QR labels for assets, you can choose any of the following details to display on the label.
You can do the following on the page.
Filter the products by various criteria listed at the top of the page
Search for specific products by the data in any of the fields
4/ When done with updating, click "Save."
You can also add asset-level details for products on the product-specific inventory page you see when you click a product, and on the asset-specific page you see when you click a specific asset on the product-specific inventory page.
