How to delete an account from Cloud

You can delete an account from Cloud when you no longer need it on Cloud. Deleting an account is irreversible; you cannot recover it once it is deleted.

You will need the "Create and manage accounts" and "Delete accounts" permissions, or be a member of a group that has them, to delete accounts on Cloud.

Here are some things you need to know before deleting an account.

  • The account should not have ongoing opportunities. You will need to delete the ongoing opportunities from Cloud.

  • The account should not have ongoing or completed projects. You will need to revert the projects to opportunities and delete the relevant opportunities from Cloud.

  • The account should not have ongoing or completed service calls. You will need to delete all service calls associated with the account from Cloud.

  • An account with one or more subaccounts cannot be deleted. You will need to remove the subaccounts from the account before you delete it.

To delete an account:

1/ Go to "Accounts" in the left navigation menu.

2/ Click the 3-dot menu of the account and click "Delete."

3/ Complete the delete workflow, and the account will be deleted from Cloud.
