Working on a project event

Once you log into the D-Tools Cloud mobile app, you will see the dashboard with all the project events and service calls assigned to you for the day. Service calls will display a Briefcase icon.

If you want to see only project events assigned to you, tap the “Projects” tab.

To see the details of a project event, tap the event, and you will see the details of the work site and the tasks in the event.

If you want to work on an event, once you tap the event, tap “Start Job” at the lower left corner of the screen. This will start the timer to track the time you spend completing the tasks in the event.

As you complete the tasks in the event, tap the event and do the following:

  • Select the checklist items to mark them as completed.

  • Add product images as needed.

  • Once the task is complete, set its status to Completed.

Once you have completed all the tasks in the event, scroll down and add images and attachments if needed.

  • If you have not started the timer for the event, tap “Add Time Entry” to add the time entry. Check out this article for more details.

  • If you are running the timer for the event, tap “End Job.” Here, you can update the time entry for the event and even add the labor type for the event.

Tap “End Job” to complete the event.
