When you have the required products in the quote's List view, you can now proceed to connect them according to the project's design.

Go to the Visual tab in the quote and then select "Connection" under the Layout button in the top-right corner.

By default, devices are listed in the vertical layout. You can change this to a radial or horizontal layout if needed. You can also group and filter them by system, location, phase, and category.

Check out this article for more details.

On the connection diagram

Hold the Ctrl key on the keyboard, and click on the source device, followed by the destination device.

You will see a connection line between the devices, and this line will be assigned a connection ID.

Click this line to view the Connection ID panel, where you specify the I/Os of the two devices and the connection type.

In its side panel

1/ Click on the source device, and you will see its side panel.

2/ Click the "Connections" section, and this will open the Connections panel.

3/ Click "Connect items," and this will open a modal.

4/ In the modal, click "Select" next to the device you want to connect to this device.

5/ Click "Done."

You will see a connection line between the devices, and this line will be assigned a connection ID.

In this example, we connected a Wi-Fi router to a surveillance camera.

In the modal, you can connect a device to multiple devices. You will see multiple connection lines between the devices, and each of these lines will be assigned a unique connection ID.
