A "Signal Type" defines the type of signal carried in the connection between devices, for example, Audio.
By default, we provide the most commonly used signal types.
To add a new signal type:
1/ Go to "Settings > Drawings > Signal Types."
2/ Click "New signal type" in the top-right corner.
3/ In the new row at the top, add a name for the signal type and set a color for it.
The new signal type will be added to the list of signal types.
The connection lines drawn in the connection diagram will be shown in the color corresponding to the signal type.
In the following screenshot, we added a new signal type called "MIC."
You can sort the list of signal types and also search for a specific signal type.
You can edit the name and the color of a signal type if needed by making the changes in the row of the signal types. These changes will be seen in the existing connection diagrams.
