How to add email templates for invoice emails

You can use D-Tools' default email templates or create your own email templates for invoice emails sent to request project payments, service contract payments, service call payments, and subscription payments.

Here, you can customize the language for emails sent to your clients automatically, such as when automatic payments are collected and automatic invoices are sent, and the thank-you emails sent when payment is received for various invoices.

Go to "Settings > Payments > Email Templates" to access the default payment email templates provided by D-Tools.

Here, you will find templates for sending project, service contract, service call, and subscription invoices, emails for automatic invoices, auto pay reminders, and thank you messaging sent once payment is received.

To add a new template:

1/ Click "New email template," which will open a modal.

2/ Add a name and subject for the template, and select the type of invoice for which you want to create the template.

3/ Add the text for the body of the email. You can type "@" and select from the various data fields you want to show in the email.

The data fields available for selection will depend on the type of invoice.

4/ Add the signature.

5/ Click "Create."

If you have added your own email templates for any of the invoice emails and want to set them as defaults, click the 3-dot menu of the template and click "Set as default."
