Cloud has a built-in product library named "D-Tools Library" with thousands of popular products.
You can access the library by going to "Catalog > D-Tools Library" in the left navigation menu. Once in the library, you will see two options to search for products: D-Tools AI Search and Keyword Search.
D-Tools AI Search
The D-Tools AI Search functionality allows you to use natural, conversational language, both in text and voice, to search for products in the D-Tools Library.
When using D-Tools AI Search, you don't need to type keywords that exist in product descriptions or other product fields. You can type the search query in a natural language. For example, TVs over 50 inches.
If you are using text-based AI search, you can iterate and refine the search results by adding multiple criteria. For example, once the results for "TVs over 50 inches" are shown, you can add "Under 3K" to the search query, and the results will now be further filtered to show only TVs over 50 inches AND Under 3K.
To search using D-Tools AI Search:
1/ Type in the search query in the Search bar at the top and press Enter on the keyboard, or click the Mike icon and say the query.
You will see the products relevant to the query.
2/ You can extend the query by adding another criterion after a space or a "+" symbol.
You will see that products are further filtered by the new query.
For example, Samsung TVs above 65 inches + Price below 10K. This will further filter the list of products.
Common queries you can use are listed in the table below.

Keyword Search
The Keyword Search functionality is the traditional way to search for products in D-Tools Library, where you enter keywords that exist in product descriptions or other product fields.
1/ Click "Keyword Search" in the top-right corner.
2/ Type in the keyword in the Search box and press Enter on the keyboard.
You will see the products relevant to the keyword.
Filter and sort products
Irrespective of whether you are using D-Tools AI Search or Keyword Search, if you want to filter the products further, you can use the following:
The "Categories" and "Brands" filters on the left
The set of toggle options under "Show" in the top-right corner
With Keyword Search, you can sort the products using the options under "Sort by" in the top-right corner.
Add products to the catalog
Irrespective of whether you are using D-Tools AI Search or Keyword Search, if you want to add a product to the catalog, do one of the following:
Click the "Add" button in the product row.
Click the product name, and this will open a details modal. Click "Add to my products" at the top of the modal.
Once the product is added to the catalog, you will find it under "Catalog > My Products." The MSRP, labor estimate, product resources, and phase mapping of the product are carried over to the catalog.
You can update the product details by doing the following.
Pricing: Set costs and prices manually, or connect to supplier-provided pricing data.
Barcode: Assign barcodes in one of the Universal Product Code (UPC), European Article Number (EAN), and Interleaved Two of Five (ITF) formats.
Accessories: Add accessories for the product so that accessories are automatically added when the product is added to the quote.
Favorite: Mark the product as a favorite so you see it sooner when adding it to the quote.
Subscriptions: Associate subscriptions (software licenses) with the product so that the subscriptions are added to the quote along with the product.
Inventory-Tracked item: Mark the item as an "Inventory-Tracked item" if you want it to be managed by the Inventory Management functionality on Cloud.
