The D-Tools AI Search capability allows you to use natural, conversational language, both in text and voice, to search for products on D-Tools Cloud.
When using D-Tools AI Search, you don't need to type keywords that exist in product descriptions or other product fields. You can type or say the search query in natural language.
D-Tools AI Search is enabled by default in the following workflows:
Adding products from D-Tools Library to the Cloud catalog
Adding products from the Cloud catalog to the quote
Adding products from the Cloud catalog to the change order
Text-Based AI search
This is similar to keyword-based search, except that AI capabilities will analyze the search query.
When using text-based AI search, you can do one of the following:
Type in the search query in natural language, for example, "TVs over 55 inches and priced under 3k."
Type in the first search query, then iterate on and refine the search results by adding more criteria. For example, once the results for "TVs over 50 inches" are shown, you can add "priced under 3K" (preceded by a "+" operator) to the search query, and the results will be further filtered to show only TVs over 50 inches AND priced under 3K.
Voice-Based AI search
With voice-based AI search, you will need to click the "Microphone" icon in the Search bar, speak the search query into the built-in or connected microphone on your computer, and the AI will interpret it and show it in the Search bar.

Some common queries you can use are listed in the following table. You can concatenate the queries listed in the table when using text-based or voice-based AI search. For example, "speakers supplied by ADI and priced below 1k."
