You can set a subscription for automatic renewal when the original duration of the subscription service is completed.

You can auto-renew the subscription in the following ways:

In the quote

Before presenting the proposal to the customer, you can set the subscription to auto-renew in the subscription's side panel under the "Subscriptions" tab. You can also set the renewal length and the percentage increase in the price.

When the subscription is active

If the subscription was not set for automatic renewal when the proposal was accepted, you can set it for automatic renewal when activating the subscription or when the expiration date is approaching.

1/ Go to "Service > Subscriptions" and click the subscription tile.

2/ Click "None" next to the Auto Renew field.

In the modal, do the following:

  • Choose to renew the subscription after the expiration date or on a later date.

  • Set the extension period, percentage increase in the price, and a length discount.

3/ Click "Schedule" to schedule the automatic renewal.

You can always click the "Scheduled" link next to the Auto Renew field of a subscription that has automatic renewal enabled to see the renewal history of the subscription.

After the subscription has expired

You can also renew an expired subscription. The steps are similar to the ones to renew an active subscription.

A new subscription will be created when you renew an expired subscription. You will need to activate it.
