Once a project is in progress and some tasks are completed, you may want to get a bird' s-eye view of the project. On Cloud, projects can be easily monitored via the "Overview" tab in the project's left navigation menu.
Under the "Overview" tab, you will have access to an actionable dashboard with key project metrics, including phase-wise execution status, change orders, billing and payments, and job status. You can also add to-dos, notes, and files for the project under this tab.
You will see 5 horizontal tabs under the Overview tab: Dashboard, To-Dos, Notes, Activity, and Files.
Dashboard
The Project Dashboard will show some widgets. Here is a screenshot of the dashboard for a project.
The following is the description of the data displayed in the widgets.
Contract information
Here, you will see the project cost, project value, and margin, as well as the costs and margins for product and labor.
Project schedule
Here you can see the project's overall schedule, along with the start and end dates for each phase. You can add key dates and also switch between 1-month, 6-month, and 12-month views.
Change orders
Here, you can see the counts of internal, external, pending, accepted, and declined change orders, along with their overall impact on labor hours, cost, and margin.
Billing and Payments
This widget displays the project's payment terms, along with the invoice and payment status. You will also see the percentages of payments collected, due, and not invoiced.
Job status
The project completion percentage by product and labor.
Product installation status should be "Installed" for products to be counted toward completion.
Time entries should be added against the events scheduled for installation tasks for labor to be counted toward completion.
