If an inventory-tracked (pool-tracked) item reserved for a project is not yet staged for installation, you can unreserve it from the current project and reserve it for another.

You can unreserve inventory-tracked items in the Inventory Pools mode in two ways:

Here, you can unreserve multiple inventory-tracked items from a project at once.

1/ Go to the Project details view.

2/ Click the 3-dot menu next to the project number at the top left corner and click “Project inventory items.”

This will open a modal with all inventory-tracked items in the project.

3/ Click the 3-dot menu of an inventory-tracked item and click “Unreserve.”

4/ Specify the quantity you want to unreserve and click “Unreserve.”

You can view an inventory-tracked item and unreserve it for multiple projects simultaneously.

1/ Go to the “Inventory.”

2/ Click the inventory-tracked item you want to unreserve.

This will open its side panel.

3/ Hover over the “Allocated” tile, and you will see the “Unreserve for projects” button.

4/ Click the button. This will open a modal listing all projects for which this item is reserved.

5/ Specify the quantity of the item you want to unreserve in the row of the project.

6/ Click “Unreserve.”
