If you want Cloud to monitor your inventory-tracked item levels proactively, you can set the “Minimum Stock Quantity” and "Reorder Quantity" thresholds.

When the available quantity of an inventory-tracked item falls below the Minimum Stock Quantity threshold, you will receive a notification to create a purchase order (PO) for the inventory-tracked item.

Inventory Pools mode

To set the minimum stock quantity threshold in the Inventory Pools mode:

1/ Go to “Inventory” in the left navigation menu.

2/ Click an inventory-tracked item and in the side panel, enter a number in the "Minimum stock QTY" text box.

3/ If you want the Cloud to automatically populate the reorder quantity in the PO, specify the reorder quantity in the “Reorder Quantity” column.

You can change the minimum stock and reorder quantities at any time, and Cloud will factor in the changes instantly.

IAM mode

To set the minimum stock quantity threshold in the IAM mode:

1/ Go to "Inventory" in the left navigation menu.

2/ Click the row of the inventory-tracked item.

3/ Go to the "Stock Settings" tab.

4/ In the Stock Settings area, enter a number in the "Minimum stock QTY" text box.

5/ If you want the Cloud to automatically populate the reorder quantity in the PO, specify the reorder quantity in the “Reorder Quantity” column.

Create a purchase order

When an item's quantity reaches the minimum stock quantity threshold, Cloud will display the item as "running low" in the "Items Below Stock Level" widget. Clicking "running low" in the widget will show a notification panel with an option to create a PO.

If you want to create a PO from the notifications panel, click "Create PO" in the panel, select the supplier, and create the PO using the PO creation workflow.
