When you browse suppliers and brands in the catalog, you will notice small indicators next to some of their names. These tell you two different things: whether the supplier is a D-Tools i3 Partner, and whether they provide pricing.
The i3 badge
An "i3" badge next to a supplier or brand means they are a D-Tools i3 Partner. Hover over the badge and you will see the tooltip "D-Tools partner."
i3 Partners are suppliers that have sent us their data to populate D-Tools products. You can rely on the partners' products to be the correct brand and model name, model number, images, and product descriptions. Some even include MSRP, specs, long descriptions, labor, and more.
The currency symbol
A currency symbol next to a supplier means that supplier provides dealer-specific pricing through D-Tools Cloud. Hover over it and you will see the tooltip "D-Tools partner provided pricing."
The symbol matches your account's currency, so depending on your region you may see "$," "£," "€," or another symbol.
A supplier can carry either indicator on its own. Being an i3 Partner means the supplier has given us their product data; the currency symbol means you can also connect your dealer account to pull your own pricing.
Getting a supplier's pricing
Many suppliers now provide dealer pricing through D-Tools Cloud. To use it, you need an authorized dealer account with that supplier and you need to connect it in the catalog. Once connected, your dealer costs stay up to date as the supplier publishes changes.
