Once you have the required products in the quote's Design view, you can connect them according to the project's design.

Go to the "Drawings" tab in the quote. By default, you can see a connection diagram. Double-click the diagram to go to its Edit view.

By default, devices appear in a vertical layout. You can change this to a radial or horizontal layout if needed. You can also group and filter them by system, location, phase, and category.

You can either create one connection between two devices or multiple connections between two devices in one go.

You can do one of the following to create a connection between two devices:

Cloud displays a connection line between the devices and assigns a connection ID to that line.

Click this line to open the Connection ID panel, where you specify the connection details: I/Os of the connected devices, the connection type, the direction, and the wire for the connection.

If you want to add multiple independent connections between two devices in one go:

1/ Click on the first device.

2/ Click on the second device.

3/ In the New connection added modal in the lower left corner, click "Refresh."

4/ Repeat steps 1 to 3 as many times as the connections you need.

Once done, you can see multiple connection lines between the devices. You can specify the connection details in one of the device's side panels.

1/ Click on the source device to see its side panel.

2/ Click the "Connections" section to see the Connections panel.

3/ Click "Connect items."

4/ In the modal, click "Select" next to the device you want to connect to this device.

5/ Click "Done."

Cloud displays a connection line between the devices and assigns it a connection ID.
